Model Village Concept in Papua New Guinea

The model village concept is one in which selected villages are consulted and verified by DAL, NARI, NGO’s, private companies and industries and the local level government. The villages are selected and local villages are consulted and their needs assessments are carried out. An office on each site enables field officers to implement activities in the field. The local level institutions such as schools, community centers, Churches will be utilized as and when necessary.
